Sassy Toy Awards

Award Winning Toys

Since the launch of the original Sassy developmental toy line in 1996, Sassy products have excelled in the juvenile products industry. Sassy’s unique approach focused on stimulating four specific developmental areas during baby’s first year of life.  This approach, along with insightful designs, bright colors, and superior quality stood out in the infant toy category and the toys became a fast favorite with parents, babies and toy reviewers.

Sassy products, past and current, have received countless awards, honors and recognition for their outstanding features, developmental appropriateness, and educational value.  Sassy's current product line includes several extraordinary award-winners.

Oppenheim Toy Portfolio SNAP Award

Four spinning pieces with a variety of bright colors, textures and shapes draw baby’s eyes and ears to play with the Illumination Station. Like Sassy’s classic Fascination Station, this toy can be mounted to a high chair tray or other flat surface with it’s sturdy suction-cup base or removed from its base for hand held play.  The polka-dot ball lights from within when baby spins or shakes the Illumination Station.

Developmental Benefit
The Illumination Station develops baby’s thinking skills because of its visual and tactile appeal to keep baby interested in and focused on the toy.  With a simple bat of the hand, baby can cause the "ferris wheel" to spin.

Play Tips
Show baby how to make the spinners move using the whole hand, then just the pointer finger
Take the rattle off the base and let baby hold in hand.
